The Wonderful World of Sidy Boy

Scamp is the only Schnauzer I have that actually kisses. The other boys just put their nose right up on your face, but Scamp will actually sit and lick my hand for no apparent reason. He also loves to be in the backyard- even if no one else is out there he'll find something to occupy him. He loves to sit and watch the birds (he doesn't bother trying to chase them anymore) or squirrels, and all the sounds of the city truly amuse him.

Scamp is a Miniature Schnauzer. His parents are CH Richlene's High Pockets and Richlene's What A Doll.

Scamp turned a year old on March 15, 2005. He is growing up so well now! He had a few months where he was a tad on the destructive side when I'd leave the house, but now he's just a little wild a couple times a day- right around feeding time usually!

Scamps favorite toys are anything that squeeks... or anything that is thrown, or anything he can chew on... I suppose scamp has a lot of favorites. When he sleeps, he's always laying on his back, all legs totally spread out.

Scamp and Sidy have become best friends now. When I first brought Scamp home, Sidy was scared of him. It took about a week before Sidy would actually consider Scamp to be a dog, and then the fun was on! Sidy was always trying to get Scamp to chase him, and now that Scamp has gotten older and faster, Sidy is struggling to keep up with him! That does tend to make Sidy mad at times, since Sidy is used to being the one who had to be kept up with.

I have discovered that Scamp will literally eat anything. He is crazy about his vegetables- especially carrots. Every morning I give the dogs a teaspoon of peanut butter since one of the boys has to have a pill daily- Scamp lines up with the rest of them, and after he's had his teaspoon, he runs to the end of the line and wants another turn!

Scamp is a good boy though, he's always happy- no matter what. He does have a bad habit of chasing Puddy Tat now and then, but we're trying to keep that under control (before the cat hurts him).
