The other boys didn't really care for Oliver at first, however since he has learned his boundaries, they are now accepting him. Oliver isn't allowed to run in the house, or the other boys will attack him-and he must let them go in/out of the house first.
Oliver is the typical Weimaraner- his stomach is a bottomless pit. Thankfully we've gotten him past the point where he tries to eat off the counters and kitchen table, and just sticks to any crumb that has dropped on the floor other than feeding time.
Unlike most Weimaraners, Oliver doesn't bark. He's never once barked when someone is at the door- however when I come home from work (feeding time), he bays like a hound. Other than that, Oliver is very silent. He does have a habit that is extremely annoying though- he tends to spin in circles when he's excited.
He's definatly not the smartest dog in the world, which has earned him the name "big dumb dog", but he's extremely gentle and adores everyone. If someone broke into my home, Oliver would simply search him for food and then go get the crook a toy. Thankfully, I have my bearded monsters to let me know if anything is going on.
