Special Ed
Special Ed was given to me by my sister. She was having problems with him not using the litter box, and thought that he was "mentally challenged". That's how he got the name "Special Ed"... though ever since I've had him, he has NEVER had a problem with using the litter box.

Ed is all attitude. He doesn't take any crap off of the dogs... if the dogs DO try to fool with him... the dog will learn yet another lesson!

Ed spends the majority of his time indoors, but on nice days when we're outside, he likes to come out and investigate the backyard. He doesn't leave the yard at all- we have a 7' privacy fence, and for him to get over it he'd actually have to burn a few calories- which is something Ed is determined NOT to do!

Ed became sick in October 2005. It took us quite awhile to get him back to his normal self again, but he pulled through for awhile. In December, his problem came back suddenly and he was not able to recover. Special Ed died December 2005. The bottom two photos of Ed on this page were taken around Christmas 2004 and not developed until 2006- I mostly use a digital camera but these were taken with a regular camera and not developed until Jan 2006.

Puddy Tat
Puddy Tat was a stray at the kennel I work at. I had seen him on and off for years, and finally got him to come up to me. After awhile he started to figure out that I was the one who was putting all the cat food outside, and he turned out to be really sweet. He would come up to me and rub himself all over me, a real doll. Finally I decided to take him home. The groomer gave him a bath, and home he went. Now that he's here... he ignores me. I suppose he got what he wanted and has no need for me anymore.. typical male huh? He has adjusted to being an indoor cat very nicely though- but he has learned one trick from the dogs- it's nice to go outside and do the "business". He goes outside to potty just like the dogs do! He never leaves the yard- that would require exerting himself to get over our 7 foot fence- and Puddy doesn't like to burn too many calories- he fits in well with Ed.
