Polish Lowland Sheepdog Rescue Groups
A Polish merchant traded a shipment of grain for sheep in Scotland in 1514 and brought six dogs to move the sheep. It is thought that the dogs he had were from a Puli being bred with some herding dogs. A Scottish man was so impressed with the herding ability of these dogs that he traded a ram and two ewes for a male and two female dogs.
