What You Can Do?

The biggest thing you can do requires absolutly no effort at all... DO NOT BUY FROM A PET SHOP. Do not purchase food, toys, treats, puppies or anything from a store that sells puppies. Give them no money, and the store will close down. This is all about supply and demand- if you no longer demand their puppies, they will stop supplying them!
Another thing you can do- Help Educate Others. Knowledge is power. The more people you can get to not buy from pet shops, the better.
Wanna have some fun???
Go into a pet shop (not to buy anything). Pretend to be interested in purchasing a puppy. Start questioning the staff about where the puppies came from, how they're cared for, and the big one... ask about OFA, CERF test results on the parents. Usually the mention of this will get them to ask you to leave their store- but enough people who are actually there thinking of buying a puppy will witness this, and will most likely change their minds! I was personally thrown out of a pet shop for doing this very thing, and it was the greatest feeling in the world! A few months later, that shop closed down!
