American Alligators are mainly found in the Southeastern United States from the Great Dismal Swamp in North Carolina, south to the Everglades and to the southern tip of Texas. North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas and Oklahoma are all home to American Alligators, however the states with the most are Florida and Louisiana.
