Healerpoo Information
The Healer-poo is a Poodle / Blue Healer (Australian Cattle Dog) mix. The dog in the photo has been shaved so you cannot see the wiry coat, however the coat is very coarse/wiry, and once it gets about an inch long it begins to curl.
The Healer-Poo is very energetic, and extremely vocal. Obedience training is a must with this mix, and those who are not willing to be an active part in the dogs exercise requirements should not get this mix. Healer-Poo's tend to not be content just being a couch potatoe- they need a great deal of exercise and mental stimulation or they will become very destrcutive.
They tend to weigh about 38-45 pounds, and though mixed with Poodle, they do shed. The dog in the photo was shaved due to the fact that the owner could not tolerate all of the shedding.
