Grand Griffon Vendeen Information
The Grand Griffon Vendeen originated in France in the 1400's. Its ancestors are the St. Hubert Hound, the Braque Italian and the Griffon Nivernais.
The Grand Griffon Vendeen is either white or wheaten color, with various other color markings. This dog adapts well to land or water, having a rough, wiry outer coat and a thick undercoat.
