We are a small show home located in Portland, Oregon. Our pugs are very important to us and very much a part of the family. My husband and I have owned pugs for going on eight years and have been actively showing in conformation for three of those years.

Our top priorities are to produce pugs that are superb examples of their breed in every way. Paying close attention to health, conformation and temperment are the guidelines we focus on for our breeding program. Our goals being to produce very healthy pugs from health tested and champion breeding stock. We hope to create a balance between pugs that win in the show ring and win over the hearts of their owners doing what they were made to do, being superb companion animals. Creating new lives is not something we take lightly and we are fully prepared to stand behind every puppy we bring into the world.

Rose pugs has actively bred and shown in conformation successfully for 11 years. I breed both fawns and blacks, and shown both colors with wonderful success. DeAnne Little and I bred Ch. Dulittle/Rose Wee Faerie Sprite, who won best op. sex at our breed's ' 04 nationals under the well respected breeder judge Allan Harper, against the top bitches in Canada and USA. The following year at the '05 nationals my black bitch Ch.Rose's I'm the Boss Applesauce earned a Award of Merit, which earned her a invitation to the Crufts dogshow in London England. Ch.Rose's I'm the Boss Applesauce's first litter produced Am/Can Ch.Rose's Cover Shot who at 10 months went best of breed over 9 dogs specials earning her championship. Her black sister Ch.Rose's Shes Da Bomb took the breed from the bred by class, and onto a group 3, and finishing her championship 2 days later. I bred selectively for my next show prospect. My pet puppies are loved and cared for the same as my next winners. All babies are raised in my home and involved in the daily activities of my family.

Redland Boerboels is founded on the principle of quality over quantity. The reason we breed is first and foremost for ourselves. With every breeding we invest countless hours of preparation and thought. We health test all our dogs, and are happy to share these results with prospective buyers. Our intent is to improve not only our breeding program, but the breed as a whole with every litter born. All of our puppies are placed on contract, with a preference to good working, show and companion homes.

We recently entered the show ring with our foundation bitch, EZ, who not only earned her title, but a Group 3 along the way. EZ is presently expecting pups and we can't wait to see what happens.
