Bullboxer

The Bullboxer is a Boxer mixed with a "bully breed" dog. Bully breeds can range from American Pit Bull Terriers, Bulldogs, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs, etc. Since there are a wide variety of breeds that tend to be used in this crossing, a specific type is not set. The Bullboxer is generally "tagged" as a "pit bull mix", and if in shelters, are most likely put down (a great deal of shelters will not adopt out Pit Bull type dogs).

Some of the Bullboxers have their tails docked, some have ears cropped, some have neither. Coats are generally short and smooth, with any coloring. There is absolutely no consistincy on the traits these dogs show.

Temperaments are also not set in this "breed" so you must rely on socialization and upbringing to help set the temperament. Obedience training is recomended.
