Reputable Breeder Directory

At The Wonderful World of Sidy Boy it is not our goal to have the biggest breeder directory on the internet, but it is our goal to have the best reputable breeder directory.
Reputable Breeder Directory

We don't list any breeder who applies for a listing- we only list the breeders who we believe are out to better the breed, and produce healthy, happy puppies. The breeders must compete in some way with the dogs- agility, obedience, conformation, hunting, etc. They also must test their dogs for health issues prior to breeding them. That way, the puppies they produce are less likely to have health conditions later in life.

As stated above, we don't allow just any breeder to be listed. Only those who meet our requirements will be accepted for a listing. The requirements are:

You must compete with your dogs
This doesn't mean that you have to have won Best In Show at Westminster- just that you are out there doing something with your dogs besides breeding. Conformation titles, hunting titles, obedience titles, earthdog, field trials, etc are all acceptable. Just having a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) title on a dog isn't exactly what we consider a "title".

Reputable Breeder Directory
The titles must be on a dog that you own- not just in the pedigree of your dog.

There are some breeds/breeders who "do their own thing" with the dogs, without getting titles. So for those of you who actually use your dogs for working, that is acceptable.

You must have health testing done
This is more important than anything actually. Pretty much every breed has problems to look out for, and a test to find out if your dog has it/carries it. If you don't test, it's very irresponsible to breed.

Rescue your own
If you sell a dog/puppy to someone and there comes a time when they can no longer keep the dog, you must be willing to take the dog back. Breeding responsibly means not letting your dogs end up in breed rescue or humane shelters. You are responsible for every puppy you create, for it's entire life.

Sell pets on spay/neuter contracts
This doesn't apply to dogs sold for show/competition, just for those that are sold as pets. They must be sold on limited registration (if allowed in your country/registry) with a spay/neuter contract.

Don't Doodle
Absolutly no mixed breeds. No Labradoodles, Goldendoodles, Lobermans, Puggles, Maltipoos, Shi-Poos, Chiweenies, are whatever goofy name you try to give the mix... not on this site- Ever.

No Teacups
There's no such thing as a "teacup" breed, and anyone who refers to a puppy in their kennel as "teacup" will be denied. "Teacup" is simply a term that backyard breeders give to their puppies in order to fool the pet owner into thinking they have something "rare".
