Bangkaew Dog Information
The Bangkaew Dog originated in the Bangkaew village in Thailand. An old villager named Tah Nim gave the abbot a native female- she was pregnant and there was no other dogs in the area so it was thought that the father was most likely a jackal. A chromosome study of the breed has confirmed that the breed is a result of a domestic dog and a jackal interbreeding.
This breed is extremely alert and protective of their home and family. They are very devoted to their masters but tend to be aloof with strangers. They are very strong swimmers and active diggers. They are highly intelligent but can be very stubborn during training.
