Austrian Pinscher Information
The Austrian Pinscher was developed in the 1800's in Austria. They are a small dog that displays typical pinscher characteristics. Seen from the front, it has a very broad chest, suggesting greater width than height.
The Austrian Pinscher is related to the other European terrier breeds, but it has never been particularly common outside of Austria.
They prove to be an alert and noisy guardian but is often prone to excessive barking. Other name for this breed is the Osterreichischer Kurzhaariger Pinscher. Also ask about Legg-Perthes, allergies, and skin conditions in the lines.
