Aushusky

The "Aushusky" is a mixture of Australian Shepherd and Siberian Husky. Due to both breeds in the mix having a great amount of hair, the offspring have a lot of hair as well. They shed a great deal and must be combed/brushed at least twice a week or else your home will be a thick layer of dog hair.

The dog pictured on this page developed severe allergies when young and can only eat prescription food and treats. If he gets anything other than his prescribed food, he begins itching as if he's coated with fleas and pulling his own hair out.

The temperament of this dog is incredible, however that is only this dog- others may not have good temperaments. The main health concern to worry about in this breed would be hip dysplasia- that's not saying that there are not other health issues to look out for, but hip problems in this mix would be the most obvious issue.
